Never been on a rope? This is the class for you. A Basecamp coach walks you through your harness, the figure-eight knot, partner checks and how to belay, then you climb and catch each other on our easiest lines. We keep the class to 8 people so everyone gets hands-on time.
You finish by taking the belay test, so when you leave you can climb with a partner any time. Come with a friend or come alone; we’ll pair you up.
Good to know
$45 covers your entry, rental shoes and harness, the class and your belay test. Wear stretchy clothes you can squat in, and bring water. Sign the waiver once and your confirmation email will link to it. Under 14? Look at our youth classes instead.
