Setting Day: Learn to Set

The cave reset runs November 2 to 6, and on Sunday our crew lets eight members of the public join them for a morning of setting. You’ll learn how setters choose holds, plan moves and build a problem for a specific grade, then set your own with a drill and a coach beside you.

Your problem stays up for the next set, with your name on the tag if you want it. Cole Brennan leads.

Good to know

$40, ages 16 and up. Wear clothes that can get chalky and closed-toe shoes. We provide helmets, drills and bolts. You’ll be on a ladder and a rope for some of it, so please sign the waiver ahead of time.
